Hailing from Birmingham, Alabama, national recording duo, Signature, combine gospel with an urban contemporary sound. Sisters Bonnie and Michelle “Peaches” Lett first brought their signature sound to gospel airwaves across the nation with their charting single “Bigger Than All” produced by Fred Jerkins and Alvin Garrett.
When deciding on a name for the duo, Bonnie says, “God ordained us for such a time as this to go forth in ministry and He has given His stamp of approval or “signature”
Signature possess a natural gift for music and they are poised to stand out with the guidance of their label, Birmingham Entertainment. Although fairly new to this industry, they have been blessed to have shared the stage with many gospel greats such as Dr. Bobby Jones, Dorinda Clark-Cole, Tasha Cobbs, The Clark Sisters, Damita Haddon, Lemmie Battles, Earnest Pugh and a host of others.
With a unique sisterly blend, Signature is sure to cross a wide range of denominational and cultural barriers with their harmonies and infectious sound. “We want our music to be a true expression of God’s unwavering love. I think shedding God’s light during the dark times we’re going through is so needed right now. We’re just allowing God to use us, to be a blessing to someone else,” says Michelle.
Noting such musical influences as Kim Burrell, The Clark Sisters and Beyoncé, after hearing Signature, you will quickly discover that these beautiful ladies are not only gifted, but anointed and equipped with a musical blend that is unparalleled. Possessing a strong work ethic, Bonnie and Michelle are constantly writing and recording new material. They recently completed a song titled “So In Love” that features gospel charting artist, Lisa Knowles.
Gearing up for the release of their second single titled, “I Got The Victory” produced by artist/producer, Jor’Dan Armstrong, these ladies have a true purpose. Bonnie states, “Our mission is to encourage others and relay the message of God’s love for them and that no matter what anyone may be wrestling or struggling with, God is bigger than any of it. You don’t have to suffer in silence. Put your trust in God and watch how He will turn your situation around. All things truly are working for your good! God has worked in each of our individual lives…and if He can do it for us, He can do it for you!”
